Caregiver of the Month: Meet Some of Orange County’s Best Caregivers
Undoubtedly; In Home Care Solution’s success and our senior clients who thrive, would not be possible without our outstanding caregivers. A home care business succeeds by retaining high-quality caregivers. Exceptional in-home care begins and ends with having the best caregivers.
A little appreciation goes a long way; thus we decided to recognize and reward our caregivers for their hard work and accomplishments. Our “Caregiver of the Month” program evaluates the care provided by our professional caregivers and sees they’re recognized for their achievements.
Without further ado, Caregiver of the Month goes to…
Irene Bustillos has been faithfully and diligently working with our agency for 7 years now. Her longest case with our agency expanded over 5 years! After all her years of service, Irene continues to show compassion and enthusiasm on the job and for all those she comes into contact with.
Moreover, Irene is one of the most dependable caregivers when it comes to times of crisis. She is solid as a rock and someone the family can lean on when they needed support the most. Irene constantly strives to do more for clients every day and in any possible.
Irene Bustillos Is a staple to our success! Thank you for all you do. We greatly appreciate it.
Vavahea Ika has been employed by In Home Care Solutions since June 2013. She became a caregiver because she has always found great pride and personal accomplishment when helping to make a difference in another person’s life. Helping those who cannot help themselves has been her niche and reason she dedicated herself to all the patients she cares for.
Recently, Hea has gone beyond the call of duty. Her current patient suffers from severe dermatitis and an irritable, itchy rash developed. This really worried Hea after over the counter interventions failed to help. She immediately brought this to our attention and continued to go over and beyond to provide the best care for her patient.
Hea did her own research to evaluate techniques to help her patient’s symptoms. She remained in contact with nurses on staff, coordinated with home health and ultimately helped the three parties devise a plan to benefit the patient most. For the next two weeks, Hea kept a strict regimen of applying creams and using an off-loading skill to help dry the skin and heal better. Her hard work and diligence resulted in the patient’s full recovery. Hea radiated with happiness and relief because her patient was finally no longer in discomfort.
Hea’s success story as a caregiver reminds us dedication to our patients is the most rewarding part of being in healthcare.
